We designed and built the UK's first mobile cave experience — the Trailer Cave. It's a portable artificial cave system that brings the thrill of real caving to schools, fetes, festivals, corporate away-days and family events, anywhere a trailer can park.
Kitted out with a helmet and head torch, explorers make their way through more than 90 feet of tunnels spread across two levels. Inside they'll find sump ball pits, stalactites and stalagmites, tight twists and proper squeezes — all in a fully supervised, safe environment.
Who it's for
Up to 10 participants can be inside the cave at any one time, with two of our trained staff supervising entry, exit and progress through the system.
We recommend the experience for ages 5 and up — the darkness inside isn't suitable for younger children — and a minimum user height of 1.1m.
The tunnel system was modelled around an adult caver and will fit a person up to roughly 6'4" tall, with a 44" chest, 20" shoulders and 42" waist. As with any adventurous activity, severe heart conditions, epilepsy and claustrophobia would prevent entry — please get in touch if you're unsure.
Where we can set up
Provided the floor is flat and stable, we can pitch the cave indoors or outdoors. The operational footprint is 10m × 6m, which accommodates both the trailer and the gazebo; the equipment itself measures 8m × 2m.
No power supply is required.
Branding & customisation
Both the trailer and the gazebo can be branded with your corporate logos or event graphics — ideal for sponsor activations, town-centre takeovers and branded family days.
